Question about reinstalling DVD drive

How do I go about reinstalling my DVDRW drive? Do I just remove it from device manager and let it autodetect, or do I need to do something else?

Yes. Delete the drive in Device Manager. Then go back into Control Panel and select Add New Hardware and it will pick it up again.

Or theres a button right in device manager that will detect it. i think it called "scan for hardware changes".
