question about laptop monitor hacking

i have an old p3 laptop that i just recently took apart, and wanted to know if i can use the monitor from the laptop as a normal monitor.

I dont' know much about this kind of stuff, so i'm kinda useless... but i'm sure it would take a lot of work to achieve this....unless you get a thrill out of messing around with electronics, you'd probably save a lot of time and effort if you just bought a new monitor.

lol, dont look like its possible because of the connections, and it would be alot easier just to buy a cheapy TFT.
