Question about Laptop Batteries

When I use my laptop with the AC Adaptor, should I take the battery out or leave it in? I thought that if it was plugged in all the time, it might shorten the batteries life. I leave it in when it's charging of course.

I was just wondering. It's probably daft question Thanks in advance.

It doesn't really make a difference all too much if you leave it in or out. It's Li-Ion right? Li-Ions can take a lot of stress before they start to get damaged. If you're worried about losing battery life you can go ahead and take it out.

Ive never had any problems leaving the battery in, its in at the moment... and the laptops on charge...

I take my battery out when using AC power at home on my desk. When going out, I put my battery back in.
