Default Question about headsets and volume

Does listening to your headset loud mess them up? Kill them faster?

I'm listening to music and everything sounds great with a new headset I bought, but I'm concerned that this might mess them up since I've blown (I think) iPod headphones

So can anyone help me out? Greatly appreciated

If it matters I have the Fatal1ty headset

The worst thing that could happen from listening to loud music in your headset is screwing up your hearing. Otherwise, the headset should be fine as long as it's not so loud that it's distorting the sound. Then you may risk damaging the tiny speakers.
