Default question about the Bigfoot Networks Killer NIC M1

ok heres my question, will this NIC improve my internet speed and lower my ping ingame? i have a comcast connection and i did a speed test on speedtest.com or .net or what ever and my average download speed is round 25 - 28,000 kb/s. would that card improve that? also if i would switch to a Cat6 cable instead of Cat5e would that improve anything?

heres a link to the NIC

It's probably not worth the cost. It may improve speeds by a tiny amount, but that little bit wouldn't be worth the $.
