If you have an ipod and you have windows ME is there any way to install the required software via the internet or something, i have windows ME and when i try to install it via the disk it says i need 2000 or Xp

yes you need 2000 or XP, but i think Windows Media player support Ipod but i am not sure about that so don't quote me on that

PC with FireWire or USB 2.0 port, or FireWire or USB 2.0 card
Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 or Windows XP Home or Professional

so yes i am sorry but you can not use it, upgrade to Win2000 or XP

Im not predicting anything yet but i think i can upload music onto it without the software, wmp is uploading music onto it now.
