installing new proscessor +memory do i need to rerun os + other software or just install hardware

the only thing you might have to do is reactivate windows because of the hardware changes, which only takes a min by internet... If you have to it will tell you when windows starts after you put your new stuff in.

I think it only makes you reactivate if the motherboard changes.

thanks for all replys,i built my desktop ,and installed 680i xfx motherboard ,at time i used 3.00 dual core proscessor ,considering core 2 duo possible the quad core,and memory iam using 2g ,like go to 4g its 32bit system and realize it will only reconize around 3.50 g /Iam sure that will incease proformace a lot
