Laptop=NO OCing... The heat that in generated is bad news.... Now, as to processor speed. The reason for that is the processor architechture and pipelines. The Pentium M Dothan COre has 8 pipelines (same as AMD) and a very broad architechture, so it can achieve more with less speed. The series 2 Pentium M's have only 6 pipelines, and an enormous interprocessor BUS! They run at 2.13GHz which is like a 3.6GHz P4!! The same goes for AMD, which run slower, but do the same (if not more) work in the same amount of time.
