I headed over to tigerdirect.ca and started putting together a dream computer to buy. It turned out to be just 1200$. We were thinking of buying a MAC for video editing because of final cut but then thought about putting 'Hackintosh' on a pimped out pc. hah. I have never put together a pc from scratch before but i dont think it should be that hard. I need to get some tips on how to put one together and if this list of parts is compatible together....Also if i have all the parts that i need.
Case ULT31824 :: Ultra Black Aluminus ATX Mid-Tower Case with Clear Side, Front USB, Firewire and Audio Ports (30 lbs)
Video card E145-8614 :: EVGA GeForce 8600 GTS Video Card - 512MB GDDR3, PCI Express, SLI Ready, Dual DVI, HDTV, Video Card (1.7 lbs)
Sound Card C44-3272 :: Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy SE (0.8 lbs)
Power Supply A107-1088 :: Apevia / Iceberg / 680-Watt / ATX / Dual 80mm Fan / 20/24 Pin / SLI-Ready / SATA-Ready / Blue / Power Supply (5.35 lbs)
Motherboard, Processor, and RAM Bundle MCM-680ILT-Q6600A :: XFX nForce 680i LT SLI Motherboard CPU Bundle - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Processor 2.40GHz OEM, Corsair TWINX 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 Memory (2 x 1024MB) (5.4 lbs)
Hard Drive TSD-750H2 :: Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000 750GB Hard Drive - 7200RPM, 32MB, Serial ATA-300, OEM (1.65 lbs)

Will this be a great video editing system and how hard will it be to put together? I use video editing programs Sony Vegas 8.0 and Adobe After Effects CS3.
