Purchase A New All In One Computer

I am considering a new computer and would like any comments or suggestions regarding my first choice:

Asus ET2400iGTS-B008 with Intel Sandy Bridge i5 Processor, tv tuner, 1 tb hard drive, 6 gb DDR3 Ram, AMD Radeon HD 6470 Graphics Card, BluRay Disk. Available from Newegg for just over $1200.

Is there anything else out there that can approach this set up for the money. Plan to use for internet, email, pictures, home theater use.

I've never been a fan of all-in-ones. They use proprietary (Read: Buggy) firmware. They are upgrade prohibitive. Also, if something goes wrong they cannot be easily serviced, sometimes requiring you to purchase a whole new system. For that price range you can get a "normal" pc setup. That is the safest bet.
