Hello everyone!
This is my first post on this forum so please; be gentle with me!
Anyway I was just wanting an expert view on this;
I have a 300W PSU and I want to know if this is sufficient for the following system spec which I have:

Windows XP Pro OS
Asrock K7S8X Motherboard
AMD Athlon XP 3000+ CPU running at 2100MHz (400MHz fsb)
40Gb 7200RPM HDD
ATI Radeon 9200 256MB AGP Graphics card
External Broadband Modem
52X CD-ROM
Phillips DVD-RW

Any help would be highly appreciated,

Regards,

Andrew Minckley

300W is ok; I would recommend 400W but as far as I can tell that will work fine. Just don't put too many USB things on there without external Power.

300 watts is considered minimum-lots of stuff and a 7200 rpm harddisk go 400 or even 450. Todays cpu's can burn you bad.

This is just a user forum,so you decide if we have a brain.:)
As i don't have many upgrades this is one i'm considering.I have 300 and will look at "dual fans" 400 soon.i recommend it.
:)

If you want to buy 400W then it would be recommended; but it is not seriously neccersary. It depends entirely on what yuo want to do with it.
