Which one would be better?

The problem is is that I'm going to add a 9600 GSO to my new PC, and I'm not sure if a 460 watt PSU will cut it. The good thing about the 460 watt though, is that it is silent. On the other hand, there is the 500 watt PSU, which will may thinks owrk just fine, but I'm worried about how much noise it would make.

Got any suggestions?

The 9600GSO requires at minimum of 400W w/22A on the 12V rail. The CoolerMaster will work fine.

Another excellent choice would be the SILVERSTONE ST400 400W Power Supply. It will handle your system nicely and is very quiet and very reliable.

Are you sure? It seems it would be pretty loud for it has 500 watts and is only $30! That tells you something.

I guess you're right. But some other website said it is 450W "if you're a true gamer" he says. Should I consider what he's is saying and go for the 500W, or stay with the 460W?

I'm not sure about that one. 400W is the minimum for the video card, and I think it might be dangerous being on the edge...

The 400W minimum was taken from EVGA website listing for the 9600GSO. The Antec Basiq BP500UB 500W is a very well built and reliable unit for the price.

The Silverstone will be just fine powering a 9600GSO. If quiet is your main concern, get either the CoolerMaster or the Silverstone.
