PSU question

I was thinking about buying this PSU:

Coolmax CU-700B

Does anyone have any experience will this model? Are the cables a decent length?

My next door neighbor built his computer a few weeks ago and got this PSU. His was DOA; RMA'd through NewEgg.

Now that I look at it, it seems as if quite a few people complain about the same thing, and some people also mention the 4 pin cord being short.

Read some of the reviews; it seems like it is a hit and miss.

If that's the case, I'd look for another PSU. Two good brands off the top of my head are Antec and Corsair PSU's.

This may help you with buying a power supply. Be sure to look at the amps on the 12V+ rail on the PSU you're looking at too.

The 4 pin cord being too short was one of the things I am concerned with since my case has the PSU mount on the bottom (Antec 900). Of course, the fact that people are complaining about these showing up DOA doesn't exact leave me with the warm, fuzzies either. Thanks for the heads up.
