PSU Or Motherboard Problem?

Computer specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
2 GB RAM
512MB 7600GS AGP
Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939
160 GB Western Digital Hard Drive
450 Watt PSU

Symptoms:
Green Artifacts on two different video cards.
Computer restarts itself randomly.
Sluggish performance.
All programs crash to desktop with increasing frequency.

So do you think its a motherboard problem or PSU problem?

Maybe PSU. Quite possibly memory if both video cards work normally on another computer.

Try getting a hold of a different power supply from another computer and try that. Switching motherboards means a reformat if it isn't the same model, and even the same model means possibly a Microsoft reactivation.

I can tell you for sure that it is not a PSU issue. I had absolutely the same problem and at first i also thought it is PSU, i changed with a brand new one - the problem was still there. Then I bought a new CPU....still the same - and finally i changed the motherboard and everything was perfect! so i really think that you've got similar problem
