Memory:G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3
Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9S-4GBRL
Will be getting another stick when I have the spare money.

Hard drive: 1 TB SATA

My problem is the psu: as of now i have a cooler master extreme power plus 550w but was told in another forum that this is a bad psu. He recommened a xfx core edition pro 650w but ive seen pretty bad reviews on it. I think i will get a cooler master GX 650 instead, is this a good idea?

I would like to play recent games like Black Ops and Battlefield, and upcoming titles like Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Skyrim and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Ill appreciate the input.

xjoex93, the Coolermaster 550w isn't a bad power supply, and would be fine for your build. I would caution against the 750 watt for now, unless you really want to spend the extra money for Crossfire later on, it isn't necessary for you yet.
