Default Which PSU?

Hello,

So i'm on the verge of buying a new computer but in terms of power supply i'm having a bit of difficulty determining what would be best for my system.

The system specs are:

EVGA gtx 770 Superclocked
G-Skill 8gb Ripjaws
MSI Z87-G45-GAMING ATX motherboard
intel i7 4770k
1tb hdd

Would a 750 watt psu be enough? Or should i go for 850 watts? my last pc was ruined because i went cheap on a PSU so i don't want to make the same mistake twice. But at the same time i'd rather not spend an extra 30 if there's no point.

Thanks in advance

750 watts will be fine. But if later in the future if you want to get another 770 and SLI them, you'd have to get a bigger PSU. So you might just get the 850 Watt just in case you do that.

Yeah, never go with a cheap PSU. It can be a huge mistake, like you know.

I would go with the Corsair RM series. Gold Certified, Full Modular, and affordable.

Corsair RM 750

Corsair or Seasonic I would say. Good quality and reliable. Get a modular one to improve the airflow thru the case by reduceing the cable clutter.

750 watts will be future proof.
