I am thinking of putting a new psu in my system as the one i have is a box standard ATX 300w and i have added that much stuff im worried it cant cope. can i just pick any psu no matter what the wattage that fits ATX or do i have to pick something percific to my sytems reqirements.
i have been loking at the QTEC 500w or the 550w and most seem to come with 4 power connction for dard drive ETC can you get them with more than the standard 4.any recomendations would be helpfull Thanks

You can buy "Y" connectors to increase the number of connectors.

make sure its a good brand and if i were u i'd get a 500w...the alien-x aspire is very nice btw

how do i stand with buying a psu with a fan at the rear and one at the top as my psu fits right upto the top of the case.
can i only buy one with a rear fan


ignore this i obviously dont know my way around my own system and i built it. lol i have a good inch or so between psu and top of case.
