I have downloaded some WMV files that are protected content....is there any way that I can view those without getting the license? a program that plays them or something? I really don't want to download what they say I have to download to get the license....thanks....

Try and find a program called "dBpowerAMP Converter"

It installs a registry file that adds a "convert to" tag whenever you right click a music file. It allows you to convert wav/mp3 and vise versa, also allows for you to rip from copy protected CD's (.cda).

I believe this program is available from www.download.com if you can't find it add me on msn and I'll send it to you

Urgh sorry!

I've got Real Helix Producer (retail $300) if that would do what you needed? Look it up on the web. Otherwise I'm sorry but I don't know! I'm not a video expert at all lol.
