whenever i go to file open, and open something, my programs freeze, idk about all of them, but a alot of them do, i dont think it hs anthing to do with viruses spyware, or harware in my computer, cause i just custom built it and its got really good specs. anyone have any thoughts, tp be specific, one of my programs that cant open a file correctly is clonecd, i have used this and it works on another computer.

I don't know for sure, but I experienced something along those lines before and it was a virus/spyware. Just to be safe, do a full system scan for both adware and spyware.
If you don't have any software, google AVG Free Edition (antivirus) and Ad-aware SE (spyware). They are both excellent programs, and they're free.

just some programs freeze or the whole OS? The 1st thing I would suggest is that u run this http://hcidesign.com/memtest/download.html or memtest86 to check that the ram is working fine.
