Default Programs crashing due to Video Card

Hello everyone, I've been fixing a friends computer and recently he told me hes having problems where Internet Explorer, Firefox and any other program that requires the use of his Radeon 9800, the programs have been crashing. I checked it out and it would seem its being caused by "hydradmh.dll" which is part of his video card drivers, I un-installed them to double check and none of the programs crashed, only prob is I couldint test the games due to not having the drivers for a video card installed. I tried installing an eairler version of the drivers but the programs still crashed.

Does anyone know of a possible solution?

Thaks in advance.
