Recently in my Control Panel, I accidentally clicked on Program Updates. Now occasionally when I boot my PC ( WinXP SP2 ), I get a pop up for Windows Installer, as if something is automatically trying to install, yet it never actually installs anything. If I click "Cancel", it simply tries to start again. After a few tries, it stops appearing.
