Hi, a hard drive failed the other day which have the boot info on to boot into my Win7 installtion on the disk im currently using. I had to repair the MBR/BCD (booting info) onto my primary disk. So I booted up into windows but all the .exe for office, games etc are missing in the x86 abd normal program files. So .exe remain but they're not the actual game or application exe, more like update programs or register programs.
So, how do I fix this and why has it happened? Why would my pc decided to find all .exes for applications (presumably from some location in the registry) and delete them all
Thanks
Thomas
