yea they use less voltage, thus producing less heat. And they come unlocked! U could push a mobile xp more than a desktop model.

Clocks speeds don't mean much as people have said. AMD64 does 12 IPC while the P4's do only 6. That's what makes up for the loss in clock speed on the amd. Also amd's have higher bus speeds.

Yep i totally agree with winter. Clock speeds dont matter that much anymore. AMD processors (non 64 bit) do 9 IPC. (correct me if im wrong)

I would go with the AMD system. Its probably cheaper. But whoever created that site doesnt know what they are doing.
