Processor Upgrade help please

I currently own a Emachines ET1810-01 and it has a Intel® Celeron® Processor 420
but id like to know if a AMD Anthlon 64 2.20Ghz processor would work in my pc.

intel to amd
not with the same mobo
you would need to get a new mobo, and im guessing it has integrated graphics
which would mean that if you didnt find a mobo with a built in gpu
you would need to get a gpu card
and for 300$ i would just leave it alone
you would be better off probly building one from scratch

Damn, well i have the old computer that had the processor in it which has a integrated ati card, but the graphics card i have in this one is way better then it.. althou its NvideaGeforce7050. idk if its my mothboard that doesnt work or the harddrive got fried. idk. thats why im trying to move the processor.... btw my other pc is Emachines T6410
