Processor Upgrade Help

I currently have a Pentium Dual-Core CPU E5300 @ 2.60GHZ (2 CPUs), ~2.6GHz Processor and was wondering what a good upgrade would be for my computer, I want to try to keep my budget under 200$ and around 100$ would be great. Thanks!

You need to check what processors your motherboard can support, if there is a better / faster processor available then purchase one. Peronally I have a pentium dual core duo 2 and my motherboard supports quad core processors so Im going to purchase a quad core

if your computer doesnt support a much faster processor then you will need to buy a newer motherboard and processor, I would say take a look on ebay as theres good deals on there
