Default Which processor for a server?

Building a server for my parents office...

They will be networked with 9 computers sharing a printer, and files.

I was thinking of a P-D, or just a P4 w/ HT.

Wut do u think?

Default Re: Which processor for a server?

For a file and print server, pretty much anything over 1ghz will do.

However i'd chose a low end dual core processor personally.
