Yeah they should work together. If I am not mistaking that board had a problem when the 955 black edition processors coming out because the BIOS was not updated and the boards would not post with the 955. I'm sure it has been fixed by now but you might want to look into it and make sure. Other than that I think that was one of the boards people used the most with the 955 and achieved really nice overclocks. Im sure that it would compliment the 965 just as well. The 790FX chipset has been the best chipset for overclocking AMD chips so far. I am actually thinking about getting one and seeing how much further I can push my 955 to stable 24/7. Especially now that summer is over and the ambient temps are down so I can push the temps a lil more without worry.
