Default Processor help.

Hi I am looking at 2 processors and I cant figure out which one to buy. I am going to be doing some moderate gaming and normal all around stuff...which do u think is best for gaming? AMD FX 6100 Black Edition 3.3GHz Six-Core Socket AM3+ Boxed Processor FD6100WMGUSBX - Micro Center

or


AMD FX 4100 Black Edition 3.6GHz Quad-Core Socket AM3+ Boxed Processor FD4100WMGUSBX - Micro Center


Any help is very appreciated.

Go with any of the Piledriver based chips. Their numbers would be x3xx as opposed to x1xx.

Yes I was looking at that and its 190$ without a mobo and these come with a pretty decent mobo...

I'd go with the fx-6100, I have it myself. It outperforms my old laptop's i7
