this should more than effiecient and cheaper
But the quad will last you longer and the apps still get distributed individually over the four cores. None of the new lines of processors are dual core; they are all four or more cores. If you can afford a quad, and you want it, get it.

whats the point of having a quad core if you can't oc it lol. If you have the money get it....

Who said you have to OC? A quad core without overclocking is definitely no worse (better, actually) than a dual core.
