Default Which Processor?

Alright, im getting a new computer (as stated however many days ago) and i need some help on deciding wheter to go AMD or Intel. Heres the Intel i was thinking about-Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor E6600 (2.4GHz)

and the AMD-AMD Athlon(TM) 64 X2 5200+ dual-core - 2.6GHz

This computer would mainly be gaming/media, and some other tasks. Thanks for the help!

Also-Try to think which woul be better for the task, and not just what you like the best

I thought it was the E6700?

Edit: Oh, yeah, and go for the E6600. Those Core 2 Duos rape. I just (literally just, this morning), booted up my E6400 for the first time running with XP and it is incredible.

I with I could afford the E6600, but with my budget, I'm gonna have to stick with an E6300.
