Get a demo of WinTasks. It tells you all about the process and what it does/weather it is essential and you can also make it so a certain process never starts again

i've tried that but most of the things it says aren't essential are things i need.

get spybot search and destroy... its free just google it and its advanced features allor you too block start-up processes and gives you a description so you know which ones to delete... went from 40+ to 30 processes on startup

ya i just went from 60 to 49 from the services.msc thing.

Are you trying to get a faster boot time?

yes...and a lower process number.

Have you tried using Bootvis and changing the Prefetching?
