Dual 3.4ghz Xeon processors

vs.

Single FX-60 2.6ghz processors.

AND

Turion 64 MT-40

vs.

Intel Celeron M 2.0ghz

uhh those ar two completely different categories. xeons are workstation processors while fxs are gaming processors. i suppose each is good at what it does tho.

I'm aware, but generally, which one would run faster (considering both workstation and gaming processes).

i would say workstation Dual 3.4ghz Xeon processor would run faster, but gamin performance the FX-60 2.6ghz processor

So it really depends on the function, correct? So let's say I game (high-end FPS's) and work with web development programs. Which would be more appropriate, Xeon or FX-60?
