Default problems with new 5.1 speakers

I got the speakers today and I connected everything but my front center speaker doesnt want to make sound for some reason. The 4 other speakers and the subwoofer are working fine.

Have you been into the sound prefrences to check that you have 5.1 surround sound enabled?

Go to the Control Panel, and then click on Sound and Audio Devices. Make sure its in the Volume tab, and select Advanced next to Speaker Settings.

Try changing this to 5.1, and see if that centre speaker starts working.

If notm, adn your sure you've connected everything right, it might be a faulty speaker

In that case, I suspect somethings wrong with the speaker itself I'm afraid.
