Alright, I guild this awesome computer, as you can see in my specs... (4870 coming in tomorrow! And I'm getting another 24: monitor :p)
though there have been some problems with it. I can't remember them all now, that's why I'm starting the post - before I forget everything.

My TV tuner sucks.. I forget what brand it is, I will post it at home. I haven't used it in a while for the simple reason that everything is blurry.

My CD/DVD drive sucks. It won't play movies. Forgot exactly what it said because back during the hurricane I figured it would be nice to take my computer with me for a theater.. it was only then I tried playing a movie and it didn't work. When I got back home (the hurricane wasn't bad in our town) I researched it and it said try new drivers for it, couldn't find any. The drivers that came with it on newegg were mouse drivers, odd isn't it?

Is my computer suposed to be around 43 degrees all the time? I bought a TuniQ tower to keep it super cold.. my processor is usually 43 (down to 40) while my hdd is at 36 degrees... is that normal? because I thought the TuniQ made is colder than normal :D

When I run two instances of world of warcraft I get some lag going on.. with a quad core 2.5 and 4gbs of ram... a 500gb hdd (with a 50gb partition for windows) and there is still alot of room left on both partitions.. I'm hopeing it's the video card doing it, considering when I bought the computer I bought a 20$ video card to use until I got the 4870. I hopeing the 4870 will fix this when I install it...

All I can think of. I have like five drive bays on my computer so I guess I will by another drive to play DVDs if there are no suggestions..

Thanks for reading all the way down here.. and if you skipped to the bottom, :( no thanks! lolz

For WOW, I think it's safe to say your shiney new HD 4870 will get it running nicely.

Are you sure it's not the software you're using. I've found that if something else isn't working, VLC player always will.

That idle or load? Idle temps don't really have much meaning. Run a stress test program and tell us your temps.

Nope, not the software for my CD player, I've tried three different players.

Nope, the temp is when I'm playing two WoWs at once and have Conquer Club up (conquerclub.com) at the same time, I love this monitor! lol
