Yeah hi,

Ok here is the dealio. I have this problem where when I boot up Windows on my Hard drive it freezes at the blue bar screen. The bar just stops and no matter how many times I restart it freezes there or a lil after.

I'm not completly dumb so I've tried some things:

1. I have reformatted, reinstalled, and repaired Windows a couple times. Nothing happening
2. I have tried a different Hard Drive, it freezes while reformatting the hard drive
3. I have tried repairing each disk. Nuh uh

I have two hard drives and the thing is that when I plug both in I get a disk read error. And it doesn't even recognize the other hard drive in my BIOS setup.

I AM LOSING MY MIND!

thanks,

Scott

i have to ask, how are your jumper configurations?
Since you sound like you have experience i am sure you checked this.
First thing i would do, is remove all add on card such as modem, nic, etc. So your saying you tried each hdd by themselves and same problem correct? By you saying that one drive doesn't show up in bios it sound like one is bad, or the two drives have a controller conflict. If the hdd's are good, then I would check the memory with a program called RST. Also, did you try a new cdrom, ide cable, on the hdd's and cdrom?
the two programs i use arw rst, and dft.
You need winimage to create the bootable floppies. Download and open winimage, open the dft, or rst file, then format and create each floppy.
