Problems Installing programs

Ok I have tried a couple of times to install some programs, the latest being adobe acrobat.

However whenever I try to do so, I get the following error....

Can anyone give some advice about what is happening?

Have you got a Transition Pack like BricPack from crystalxp.net ("Vista
Inspirat") or any other Theme from a third party vendor installed?
If true, that's very likely to be the cause for the error message
you've seen. Uninstall those Packs/Themes and see what happens

Cheers, just found it myself, there is a problem with the transition packs and the latest XP update, have uninstalled the packs and it works fine now.

A shame coz I liked those packs, now its pack to plain ol XP until they release an update
