Hello All,
I am having problems connecting my Compaq Presario V6500 running on Vista Home to my LG LCD TV.
When i tried to setup the connection first time on Sat after a few prresses of pressing FN & F4 i managed to get a picture up via the RGB cable and i thought everything was fine.
When i tried this again last night it did not work, when i plug the RGB cable to the laptop it frezzes and the only thing diplayed on the laptop's lcd was a desktop picture, all the icons had gone and the keyboard & mouse was ineffective, when i pulled out the RGB cable the laptop returned to its normal state.
I tested this with my works IBM laptop and it worked first time so i know there isnt a problem with the LCD Tv or cabling.
I have even tired changing the diplay settings when the RGB cable is not in but no luck.
Can anyone please help???
