Problems Awaking from hibernation

Here is the problem...

Im in technology sales and I have a customer, who recently purchased an HP Pavilion 810n, which has the AMD 64-Bit processor and the whole thing.

Shes had the computer for less than ten days. The computer went into hibernation mode, and it wont "wake" up. I even had her unplug the power cable and try and still no luck.

Her surge strip is working, the monitor is staying in standby, and to tell you the truth I'm completely stumped. If anyone can be of any assistance, it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

hibernation means that it stores the os in the memory and it boots down. so when she hits the power button the pc will not turn on?

Maybe try pulling the CMOS jumper?
I've never know of this happening before....but that would be the only thing left I could think of.
Maybe the power supply died?
