Default Problem with video card maybe?

Whenever I close an application like windows media player or something I will occassionally get images stuck on my desktop. I think these are known as "artifacts" or something, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I was just wondering if I should worry about this as it has never happened in the past.

I kinda know what you mean, it's when things don't get properly cleaned up at a program's exit.

System specs, please? It's unlikely to be the GPU, I think.

If I may, Ram may also play a factor to this problem. Please post the amount of Ram you have on your computer.

Cheers!
