Hello everyone i recently bought Geforce 8400gs DDR2 512mb PCI graphic card...
I was always using an AGP slot for my graphic card but i wanted to get a better graphic card to play better games. When i install this one everything is fine but when it comes to playing a game for 10-15 seconds it works fine and then it freezes no matter what. Also when i go to my desktop setting it shows i have 2 monitors hooked up???!!!!!. I would get an PCI-E card but i don't have PCI-E slot on my computer. Only 1 AGP x8 and 3 PCI slots. Now i was wondering whats the problem? I was trying to install this for past 2 weeks and still nothing. Many of my friends told me to reinstall drivers etc that didn't work either... My computer is using DDR 1 ram and graphic card came with DDR2 maybe that's the solution... Here is my motherboard number a7vbx-la (ASUS).
Also i have a 430W power supply, 2gb of ram and Windows Xp professional service pack 3. Thank you for your time
