Problem with history

Hi, I'm having a problem. I have deleted my history several times to only discover that whenever I type in a letter, there is still one of the links to the site I deleted still there. It does not go away. Any help?

You need to clear autocomplete, and the address history, if you are using firefox then go to the clear personal data, and that should remove it.

for fire fox, ctrl-shift-del will do it and in ie7, tool-delete browsing history (delete all of them)
