dont put them both in in one time. do it one at a time. windows may be too overwhelmed by double cards. you might be having a similar problem as this:

Ok, the problem has finally been solved. It turns out that it was a driver issue that was screwy. Rolled back to the previous drivers and all is well. Thanks to all for your help.
