Problem with Explorer.exe

i know that explorer.exe is the main task you use in a computer (i think) but anyway let me get to the point. when i turn on my computer it goes a bit slow then i get a message saying "explorer.exe has encounted a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience" or something like that then explorer ends and it stars again. how do i stop this from happening it gets really annoying because i have to wait longer for my computer to start up

You could have been infected with spyware/virus. I would first try a virus scan and spyware scan, then see what happens. If that fails, I would check startup processes (Start>Run>MSCONFIG>Startup Tab) and make sure there is nothing fishy in there to make explorer crash.

i have kaspersky internet security 6 did a full scan found nothing. downloaded NoAdware did a scan found nothing also im downloading Lavasoft's free AdAware to do a scan just to see if i have anything. thats for the suggestion
