Problem with the computer

Hey, My computer had a power surge and messed up at first it wouldnt turn on then it could but it restarts and has an error sometimes and when ever i install a new game and try to play it it restarts my dad replaced the motherboard on it but we have no idea what to do about it any helps appreciated

i would have said the motherboard fried that happened to a friend he had like a hole on it all black lol, but you replaced it maybe the powersupply dunno a power surge can f' up all your sistem thats why i have dont remember how are they called the ones that keep your comp on is a power surge comes and protects it
