Problem

Hi everyone I don't know whats the problem here but when I leave my computer on and turn of the monitor for a prolonged amount of time .

Then turn it on it doesn't seem to connect back to the computer and the only way to get a signal is to restart. Anyone know how to fix this ?

Is this the same machine that you recently moved?

Did it behave this way prior to the move?

Well it seems to work absolutely fine. Well never mind I can live with it thank you

Checked that all your parts are correctly seated and tried with other cables?

Already have still nothing.... I think it's just my luck :\

try pulling out your video drivers and reinstalling them. Maybe it just got corrupt.

Check the obvious because you never know

Check the lead. Whether it be VGA/DVI or HDMI.
Check the Connection on the monitor and Card
Check and update your drivers. Also check it on another monitor. And by pure chance make sure your setting for waking up the computer are set correctly. and how the computer wakes up out of a 'sleep mode'
