Exclamation Problem !!

hi guys i was just woundering if its possible to keep the information on my hard drive, ill tell you what happened, my motherboard is broke but all the stuff on my hdd i need but if i buy a new motherboard i have to install xp again unless i get the same mobo but how do i install xp with the new mobo but keep all the info on it ?? thanks

well a system repair using your xpp disk should do the job , keeping all the origonal files and settings

how do i do that ? just plug everything in and insert the xp disc ?

yeah then select repair installation at the blue screen

no not repair installation it just repairs the installation i have used it before and never got a problem ,
