Specs seem fine. Test your direct x by going to command prompt and typing dxdiag

i am using 9.0c but when i load up wc3 it says i need to install a version 8.1 or newer...

I'm just suggetsting because maybe you din't get a good install, all games(most) have DirectX on the CD go into the CD and get it from there.

I think I know whats wrong, you have XP right?If you do you need to use this link to update:

and you may need to revert to 9.0 and earlier to upgrade with this.]
also I get those kinds of grafs on my old computer when I try and run HALO ( it had 4 mb Video memory) and I didn't know what vid mem was at the time so it didn't run right.
