Printer Problem

I recently installed windows 2000, now my hewlett packard 612c does not install on my computer it did when i ran xp, i hear something about downloading the windows 2000 files or something like that?!?!??!

Have you used the inslal disk that came with your printer?

Seem like your just missind the proper driver for your printer

You can use the NT drivers with windows 2000 for your printer, they work most of the time. If you don't have them you can go and get them at this web site: www.driverzone.com

when i go to the control panel and then printers, then click on add printer it says "printer operation cannot continue due to lack of resources. The printer subsystem is unavaliable." so i still cant install my printer, i also popped my cd into my comp as well and it said "this driver is not supported by windoes 2000" HELP!!!1

If you go into the driver setup list where you see all the makes and models listed, select any one which is similar to yours. This is how i got mine working without drivers...
