Need help with a printer issue, my printer is not longer available, and when i try to reinstall is says the RPC server is not available! I have never ran into this before could someone please help me and get this fixed.
My guess would be that the Print spooler has been placed in a disabled state somehow and is not restarting in automatic mode. Easiest way to check would be to go to Start-->Run-->type: msconfig, then hit Enter. A new box will come up and one of the tabs will say Services. Scroll the list and look for print spooler and make sure it's checked to be enabled each time you start up your computer.
You can also access your Services by right-clicking My Computer-->Manage-->Selecting Services in the left column and then scrolling the right column for Print Spooler and make sure it is started and set for automatic.
This would be my guess as to why your printer all of a sudden disappeared.
