Default Powerpoint to video?

I am making a wedding video for my nieghbor, she has all the pictures in a powerpoint, and now she wants to add music that cuts at certain points, like 45 sec clips and all. I dont think you can do this in powerpoint, so is it possible to export a powerpoint to an Mpeg or something?

I would think it possible in Powerpoint actually, but what you may want is an editor that would take those pictures and create a slideshow

An editor? You mean like a video editing pogram? Thats what I was planning on doing, that way I can put it on DVD for them.

My versino of Powerpoint is 2007, but I am guessing she has 03 or older.

Windows Movie Maker is just fine for little things like this. Just add your pictures, add transitions, and go. You can also try the "Auto-Movie" feature (I think that is what it's called).
